I visited the ski resorts at Big Bear Lake, CA, in the mountains of the San Bernadino National Forest, around New Year's, 2007, and was able to capture some amazing sights on film. The frozen lake, the snow-capped peaks, holiday-makers on the ski slopes and the spectacular New Year's Eve torchlight parade in which scores of torch-bearing skiers descended the ski slopes in formation in a feast for the eyes.
